Established in 1838 by the Ryrie brothers, it was the first vineyard planted in Victoria and originally combined grape growing with cattle farming. Explore the historic estate and cellar door, then taste a selection of cool-climate wines. 11:30 AM —Punt Road Wines -- Family Vineyard With roots dating back to the 1860s, Punt Road is part of the Yarra Valley’s early wine-growing story. Later shaped by the Napoleone family, the estate continues a generations-old farming tradition, with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Shiraz and Gamay among its signature wines. 12:45 PM — CHANDON -- Modern Australian Sparkling Experience a different chapter of Yarra Valley wine at CHANDON. Established here in the 1980s, it combines French sparkling-wine tradition with the valley’s cool climate, creating an elegant expression of Australian sparkling. 2:15 PM — Yarra Valley Dairy -- Farm to Table Set in a historic 100-year-old milking shed, Yarra Valley Dairy has been handmaking cheese on the farm since 1994.Sample its distinctive farmhouse cheeses, including the celebrated Persian Fetta, and enjoy a relaxed taste of Yarra Valley country life. 3:30 PM — Depart Yarra Valley Approximately 4:30– 5 PM Arrive in Melbourne CBD HIGHLIGHTS 🍷 Yarra Valley Wine Tasting Enjoy a guided wine tasting at Yering Station. 🍇 Punt Road & CHANDON Visit both estates and enjoy free time to explore, with the option to dine at either venue at your own expense. At Punt Road, guests can also choose an optional spa experience. 🧀 Local Cheese Tasting Sample four handcrafted cheeses at Yarra Valley Dairy. 🏛️ Historic Estates & Family Vineyards Discover the heritage, stories and landscapes behind some of the Yarra Valley’s best-known estates.
