WHAT TO BRING

A little preparation can make a full-day tour much more comfortable.

Because Pigsy Travel itineraries may include wineries, wildlife parks, coastal walks, hot springs and evening outdoor experiences, the right clothing and a few practical items can make a noticeable difference.

COMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR

Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for walking.

Some stops may include uneven paths, boardwalks, steps, gravel surfaces or short coastal walks. High heels and slippery footwear are not recommended for tours that include outdoor attractions.

WEATHER-APPROPRIATE CLOTHING

Weather can change quickly across regional Victoria.

We recommend bringing a light jacket or outer layer even when the forecast is mild. Coastal destinations such as Phillip Island and Cape Schanck can feel significantly cooler and windier than Melbourne.

During warmer months, bring sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

WATER

Bring a reusable water bottle for the journey.

Drinking water may be available at some venues, but carrying your own bottle is the easiest way to stay comfortable between stops.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION

Guests joining wine-tasting experiences should carry valid photo identification.

Licensed venues may request proof of age before serving alcohol. Guests must be 18 years or older to participate in wine tasting.

FOR HOT SPRINGS TOURS

Guests joining the Peninsula Hot Springs experience should bring:

Swimwear

A change of clothes

A waterproof or separate bag for wet items

Comfortable footwear for changing areas

Towels, robes and lockers may not be included in the standard tour price and can involve additional charges at the venue.

FOR PHILLIP ISLAND

Warm clothing is strongly recommended.

The Penguin Parade takes place outdoors after sunset, and conditions can become cold and windy even during warmer months.

A warm jacket, long pants and suitable footwear will make the evening much more comfortable.

Rain protection is also recommended when showers are forecast.

FOR WINE TOURS

Wine-region tours generally involve less walking, but comfortable footwear is still recommended.

Guests may also wish to bring a small reusable bag if they plan to purchase wine, chocolate or other local products during the day.

Please remember that personal purchases must be safely stored and should not obstruct vehicle aisles or seating areas.

KEEP IT LIGHT

A small day bag is usually sufficient.

Large luggage is not recommended unless arranged with Pigsy Travel in advance, as vehicle storage space is limited.

Bring only what you are likely to need during the day so that boarding, unloading and moving between venues remains easy for everyone.
